Sheila Walsh is a powerful Bible teacher and best-selling author from Scotland with over 4 million books sold. A featured speaker with Women of Faith® conferences, she has reached more than 5 million women by combining honesty, vulnerability, and humor with God’s Word. Her passion to see women’s lives transformed by the power of God’s word is contagious. Currently completing her Masters in Theology, Sheila lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband, Barry, her son, Christian, and her two little dogs, Belle and Tink.
Beautiful and talented, Sheila Walsh was at the pinnacle of her career, appearing daily on television as cohost of The 700 Club. One day she found herself walking away from it all and checking in to a psychiatric hospital, where she stayed for a month.
From the outside everything seemed fine, but on the inside Sheila was in trouble. In her journal she wrote, “Lord, please hold me. I’m falling into a dark well. I feel as if I am disappearing a little more every day. I am so angry inside that I am afraid of myself. I feel so alone.” How did this happen? What brought her to her knees?
Loved Back to Life takes readers on Sheila’s journey of the soul from hopelessness to joy as she finds that although the road was scary, at every turn God beckoned her to follow and trust Him. And He did not let her down.
If you’d like to see Sheila in person, please join LifeSavers Foundation and The Doctor Spot for their Spring Boutique and Luncheon on April 14th at Dallas Country Club.
The LifeSavers Foundation hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The purpose is to raise funds for the Community Mobile Sonogram (“CMS”) and The Doctor Spot. The CMS program provides free pregnancy testing and sonograms to underserved women and teens in the Dallas metroplex and is a joint collaboration between Prestonwood Pregnancy Center (“PPC”) and the LifeSavers Foundation.
CMS is a thirty-one foot recreational vehicle which has been revamped with a sonogram table instead of a bed. The RV currently travels to seven, half-day locations per week, including Oak Cliff, West Dallas, North Dallas, Frisco, Garland, Mesquite and McKinney.
The M2M (Ministry to Ministries) blog focuses on: The Gospel of Jesus Christ, The Bible, leadership, revival, God, promoting other ministries, and serving basic needs.
